General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The ultrasound findings are suggestive of endometrial thickening with a uterine fibroid.

The endometrial stripe of 4.5 mm is suggestive of endometrial hyperplasia (abnormal thickening of the inner lining of the uterus).

If you no longer experience any vaginal bleeding, an endometrial stripe above 4 mm or more is considered to be an indication for endometrial cancer.

Consult your treating doctor for further evaluation which may involve a biopsy to confirm the diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
